Work and residence permit assistance for Denmark

A Danish job offer is the starting point for many employment-related moves, but the application process depends on the actual role, employment terms and your circumstances. Relocate to Denmark helps assess the relevant route and organise the agreed preparation with you and your employer.

If you want support from the initial assessment through application coordination, tell us about your offer and intended start date. If you have already completed part of the process, explain what remains so the scope can focus on the work you need.

Establish the relevant route before preparing an application

Denmark has different work-related residence schemes. The Pay Limit Scheme concerns qualifying remuneration and other conditions, while the Positive Lists relate to eligible shortage occupations. Fast-track applies to certified employers and qualifying employment under its tracks. These are different routes, not interchangeable service packages.

We begin with your nationality, current residence situation and the Danish employment offer. The assessment identifies the route requiring consideration and which facts still need clarification. A job title or desired start date cannot by itself establish that an application will qualify.

Coordinate with your employer

Your employer may need to confirm the position, duties and terms, supply company information and complete application steps. We help organise the division of work so the personal and employer documents are prepared together.

If your employer has already appointed a provider, tell us. We will clarify whether you need an additional personal service and avoid presenting work already covered by the employer as part of a new package.

What our assistance includes

The scope can cover assessment of the relevant route, a case-specific document checklist, review of the materials supplied and coordination of agreed application steps. It can also include preparation for personal appointments and follow-up on the application within the agreed service period.

Before work begins, we identify what you must supply, what your employer must confirm and what we will prepare. Submission or representation tasks require the relevant authorisation and must be specified in the agreement.

Documents to organise

For the Pay Limit Scheme, SIRI's published checklist includes passport copies, employment information, proof of any required fee and other evidence relevant to the circumstances. Required passport material can include all pages, blank pages and covers. The employment document should identify pay, terms and the job description. Relevant qualifications, experience or professional authorisation may also need evidence. This is a route-specific example, not a complete checklist for every work scheme.

We turn the relevant official requirements into a case checklist that distinguishes documents you already hold from documents the employer needs to prepare. Before paying for translations, confirm which materials and languages the relevant process requires.

Document review should establish whether names, dates and employment details are consistent across the materials. Where a document needs translation or legalisation, clarify the requirement before commissioning external work. We explain which additional services need a separate quotation.

Submission and personal appointments

Application preparation and personal identity steps are different parts of the process. Where biometrics or attendance is required, you must complete the relevant personal action. We help you understand what to prepare and how the appointment relates to the application.

Once submitted, the authority may request more information. If response coordination is included, we help organise the relevant materials and explain the action needed from you or the employer. The authority makes the decision on the application.

Timing and arrival planning

Tell us if you have an employment deadline, travel booking or an expiring document. These facts affect planning and should be known before a timetable is discussed. We check the current official process relevant to the route and distinguish preparation time from external processing.

Do not assume that choosing a private assistance service gives access to a faster authority decision. Fast-track is a specific employer scheme, not a general surcharge for urgent processing.

When the immigration steps are understood, arrival support can be scoped separately. CPR preparations, digital access and banking tasks should be planned around the actual next stage rather than treated as automatic consequences of submitting an application.

Fees and scope

Your quotation states our service fee and the tasks included. Authority charges, translations, legalisation, appointment-provider charges and travel costs are identified separately where relevant. Changed employment circumstances or new work outside the original scope should be discussed before additional charges arise.

Your questions

Frequently asked questions

You can contact us to explain your circumstances, but our employment-related service does not include finding a job. Where a process depends on an actual employment offer, preparation must be based on the real employer and terms rather than an assumed future position.

Tell us your nationality, current residence position and whether you already have an offer. We can explain whether the assistance you are requesting is relevant now, what further information is needed and which tasks should wait. An enquiry does not mean an application service will automatically be recommended.

No. The responsible Danish authority assesses the application and decides whether its requirements are met. Purchasing professional assistance cannot replace the requirements or guarantee approval, processing time or a particular employment start date.

Our value lies in the preparation and coordination expressly agreed with you: reviewing the relevant information, helping identify missing documents and keeping responsibilities clear. Before you commission the work, the quotation explains the tasks included and any limits on follow-up. We do not charge for a promised authority outcome.

Some employer details may be useful as a starting point, but a previous employee’s case is not a complete checklist for yours. Your own nationality, current position, role and employment terms must be considered. Documents should describe the offer you actually have.

Tell us what your employer has already prepared and whether another adviser is involved. We can review the agreed material and identify where updates or additional information are needed. This avoids unnecessary duplication while keeping your application preparation specific to your circumstances.

We can assess a request for help after submission, including an authority’s request for further information or coordination with an employer. Please explain the route used, submission date, current stage and what you want assistance with. A case already under way needs its own review.

Follow-up is included only to the extent stated in the agreement. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it begins. If you have received a decision or need an appeal assessment, mention that immediately; specialist assistance may be required and is not assumed to be part of standard preparation.

Yes, where the family-related assistance falls within the service we can provide. We can coordinate the timing and preparation, but accompanying family members still need their own assessment. Their nationalities, relationships and documents may affect the proposed work.

Include the family members and intended arrival dates in your enquiry. We then explain which employee and family tasks can be coordinated, what remains separate and how the quotation is structured. A work-permit service for one employee should not be assumed to include applications or registrations for the whole family.
